You and your conjoined twin each have your own head, hands, and heart,
but share one pair of legs.

You see both sides of every issue. Your opinions are almost always
divided. This doesn’t bother you. You feel you can have it your way,
and give in too; live and let live. Like Whitman, you say, “I
contradict myself? So I contradict myself. I am large, I contain
multitudes.” You don’t contain multitudes, however. Like the twofer,
you’re of two minds, with the difference that each of you has its own
pair of hands. You can spend hours doing different jobs, drafting
different opinions, ripostes, counter-ripostes. Only when it is time to
act does it become clear that without compromise you will get nowhere.
Your literary form is the Socratic dialogue.
